Levi’s career began when his friends filmed him doing skateboarding tricks. Not because he held the camera, but because he told them exactly what the best shot should be. Since then, he hasn’t stopped directing.

Today, he seeks out the quiet cracks in everyday life. His work lingers on tender, easily overlooked moments, exploring the subtle tension between playfulness and melancholy that shapes human connection. Blending a joyful tone with emotionally grounded themes, he has developed a distinct narrative voice.

His body of work spans short films, series, music videos and commercial campaigns, with writing and directing equally central to his process. He is closely involved from concept to final cut, crafting each story with precision and care. He has directed campaigns ranging from Lidl to the Dutch Ministry of Defence, from Volkswagen to Bubbelfrisss. He created ALEX for VPRO and his own series Shotgun! for BNNVARA. His music video collaborations include artists such as Leafs, S10 and Froukje.

Always searching for new ways to tell stories, Levi creates work that feels intimate, energetic and emotionally resonant, inviting audiences to look at the familiar in unexpected ways.
